All Love 12/22/10 - Wed Gathering in Rockville

This Wednesday Sandbox gathering welearn about All Love. Take a few hours out of the busy holiday rush to ignite and get deeply connected to Divine heart energy. All Love is a direct initiation experience brought out into the world by Patrick Zeigler. All Love, formally called Seichim, Sehkem and SKHM (pronounced saa-kem or saa-keem), came into being after Patrick received his direct initiation in the great pyramid at Giza in 1980.  Here is how he describes the work now on his website:

“All-Love is the way of healing with the heart. Many of the rituals and techniques that were used in the past that caused separation are no longer relevant now. Through All-Love the initiations flow without any set rituals, all we need is love.  Where there is Love, All is possible, without Love we feel our separation from Source.   Our Spiritual Heart is at the core of our being and where the soul connects to our Emotional and Physical bodies. All-Love is the experience of the One Heart that connects us to the ‘All’ of creation. It is through the Divine Quickening of All-Love that we come to Love all the aspects of who we are and come into a state of re-union, not just with ourselves, but also with all of creation.”

Students and clients report that the energy can be profoundly moving causing an intense emotional release of past pain or blocked joy and laughter.  It can also open a deep stillness and pervasive peace.  A direct initiation, or Divine Quickening, has been described as a full body/aura heart orgasm.  I can tell you I have never experienced anything more powerful and more transformative than the All Love Initiation.  If you know a little about me you know I like the big experience and the big Os!  :O)  I hope you will come out and drop into the heart for an evening of Love and Bliss!  For more information on All Love SKHM please see my All Love page on my website at www.love-transforms.com and see Patrick Zeigler’s websites: www.all-love.com

Love and Blessings,

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” - Rumi

The workshop begins after dinner at 8pm. I invite you to join us, though as always what ever choice you make you will be honored in.

The Price of Invulnerability

Great video: When we numb scary stuff and pain we also numb joy too. Many people numb through addictions (to alcohol, drugs, food, news, shopping, being busy etc). Being vulnerable is key to feeling joy, love and ease of life. Start by feeling gratitude for the ordinary in our lives. TEDxKC talk synopsis: In our anxious world, we often protect ourselves by closing off parts of our lives that leave us feeling most vulnerable. Yet invulnerability has a price. When we knowingly or unknowingly numb ourselves to what we sense threatens us, we sacrifice an essential tool for navigating life.

2012 A wrinkle in time (TUT) 12/29/10 - Wed Gathering in Rockville

This Wednesday Sandbox gathering we watch the movie "2012 A Wrinkle in Time" by Mike Dooley who writes the Notes from the Universe at TUT. Following the movie Sandra Soloman will lead a discussion about 2012 and how we can be in contact with our power, divinity and responsiblity now.

Why US Why NOW? Before us lies the most exciting time in recorded history. As a species we re about to cross a threshold that's never been crossed before from darkness into light. Being here, now, was of our own choosing the adventure called to you, the challenges tempted you, and the possibilities left you utterly breathless for what might happen and for what might not happen; for the heartbreaking and for the paradise making.

The future is ours to shape, though there's been plenty of reason to anticipate the worst in terms of global upheaval and chaos. Recently, however, there are unmistakable signs that due to a shifting of consciousness, the potential for calamity has been lessened. More and more people are asking the hard questions and discovering they have clear and simple answers; answers that reveal their power, their divinity, and ultimately, their responsibilities. In the coming months and years, it will be those who understand what's really happening and who respond swiftly to the changing times, that will be richly rewarded as they learn how to deliberately engage life's magic, live lives of love, and revel in their role as natural born creators. You are powerful, it is time.

This LIVE and UNCUT video (Note: The video/audio capture was by camcorder on a tripod, the content however is world class) captures an evening with Mike Dooley in which he shares what the prophecy makers actually "saw" concerning the year 2012, what's already happening in the world, the biggest hurdle now before each and every one of us, and 5 tips for thriving amidst great change. This brand new, vintage material introduces the concepts of:

  • the evolution of consciousness
  • inner and outer storms
  • how we got to this crossroads in time
  • understanding our supernatural powers
         and responsibilities
  • how to engage life’s magic and leverage the
forces of change that are already
         sweeping the globe!

The movie and discussion begins after dinner at 8pm. I invite you to join us, though as always what ever choice you make you will be honored in.

Music from Wednesday Gatherings - Kundalini Yoga chant

Here are some of the Kundalini yoga chant music that I play on Wednesday night that helps create a peaceful and loving atmosphere. The links to SpiritVoyage's site let you listen to clips from the CDs.

Don't paddle up stream

Why struggle when you can pivot your emotions, feel good and go with life's flow. Abraham-Hicks talks about paddling up stream or flowing with life's stream. And explains why many adults are grumpy while children are joyful

How do I eat heathier for me?

I think noticing how your body feels after you eat certain foods or cut them out is the best advice. Your body is the ultimate judge when it comes to what is healthy for you. We are all unique and learning to listen to our body is an important skill. For example if eating cheese gives you cramps and bloating might be best to cut it out. Sometimes we have allergies to foods we love. If this resonates with you then trying fasting or an elimination diet where you slowly add back in food types will let you know for sure.

How to listen to your body. You might need to go to a quiet place and meditate for a few minutes to be able to hear your body at first. You might also try talking to your body parts, tell each of them that you love them, thank them for helping you and ask if they have any messages for you about your food. If you are worried about talking to your body parts realize that most people do this already but in a negative way - giving nasty comments to body parts (eg bad tummy, ugly arse) and hating them. And it might take a while for the love to sink in after years of hating. For me my body has contained a lot of wisdom for me on food and all areas of my life.

A related idea is to eat meditatively. That is firstly really noticing how you are feeling when you get the urge to eat, especially if it is an urge to eat a gallon of ice cream! Perhaps I am upset rather than hungry and really need to get a hug and drink a glass of water. I suggest the water because most people in this country are dehydrated most of the time and thirst is often confused with hunger. Water also helps when processing emotions for the energy to move faster and for released toxins to come out of the body. As a book of this title says:

"Food is not love and love is not food"

Secondly eat slowly - notice how eat mouthful tastes. There is not a wolf in the chair next to you who will steal your food from you (at least I hope there isn't!) but often we wolf down our food without chewing or tasting it. A waste of a potentially enjoyable experience and also bad for the rest of the digestive system as the teeth and saliva are the first step in digesting all the nutrients in our food. Part of eating meditatively is to focus on the eating sensations - not watching TV, having angry conversations, or working while while you eat.

The Decade of the Woman Is Upon Us

Interesting article in huffington post on how women and conscious men are coming to the fore

Gloria Steinem recently said, "Don't think about making women fit the world. Think about making the world fit women." If we live by choice --choosing to wear stilettos or flats as we please, choosing to adapt to earn respect before we make changes or to opt out and do our own thing, or choosing to work and raise a family or do them one at a time -- then as the primary consumers, the world has to meet our needs. Steinem challenged women to "pursue the life choices they would most enjoy, regardless of societal expectations."

We don't have to compete with men or participate with them on their terms. We can create and live by our own expression of business, leadership, community and family. This doesn't mean we exclude men. We move forward when:

    * We model inclusion and collaboration which is our way.

    * We don't back down when we aren't acknowledged.

    * We create businesses and communities based on our own rules.

Our capacity to love, to allow, to express emotion and to create beautiful spaces to live and work in should attract people, regardless of gender or age.

EFT for Christmas Without the Guilt

I have been to Steve's workshops on EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and do tapping regularly to release stuck emotions and beliefs. If you are feeling stressed over Christmas then perhaps a few minutes of EFT would help...

if you missed the Sandbox on EFT a year ago there is  a free tutorial is here

Christmas Without the Guilt

Lots of people experience a great deal of stress at this time of year. For us it used to be a very stressful time, however I and my family are still benefiting from the results of some tapping my wife Louise did two years ago on her Christmas guilt associated with having to “get everything right” and “do the right thing” by her family and relatives and by the mass marketing associated with Christmas. I offered this link last year and someone suggested I send it again this year, but in time for those who were so moved to do something about it. So here it is, I hope Louise’s experience prompts you to do your own tapping to free yourself of Christmas guilt:

Make your password longer, more complex - cloud hackers on the way

It used to be a six character password would take days to crack and the help of powerful expensive computers. Not any more. Amazon's cloud computing, useful for rapidly scalable graphics and database projects, can also be used by hackers to create a cheap super computer password hacker system that can crack a password in less than an hour for a cost of $2.10. So make your passwords longer and more complex (upper case and lower case letters, numbers, and special symbols such as !@#$%^&*()_+)

A German researcher demonstrated the technique using Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud and their new cluster-computing service that is designed for CPU-intensive graphics. Graphics and password cracking are remarkably similar from an algorithmic perspective: matrix and vector math. The results are quite instructive: using just 49 minutes of a single cluster instance, the researcher was able to crack passwords up to six letters in length. The total cost of the experiment: $2.10 for one hour of computing (the minimum charge is one hour).

For a hacker, there are two great sources for on-demand computing: botnets made of consumer PCs and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) from a service provider. Either one can deliver computing-on-demand for the purpose of brute-force computation. Botnets are unreliable, heterogeneous and will take longer to "provision." But they cost nothing to use and can scale to enormous size; researchers have found botnets composed of hundreds of thousands of PCs. A commercial cloud-computing offering will be faster to provision, have predictable performance and can be billed to a stolen credit card.

Enormous Milky way energy bubbles discovered

NY Times article on a energy bubbles discovery in our galaxy that are nearly as big as the galaxy itself. Wow this is a major shift in what we know about where we live! Maybe relates to 2012 stuff too as we align with the galactic core.
Michael

From http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/10/science/space/10galaxy.html?_r=1&scp=5&sq=galaxy&st=cse

A group of scientists working with data from
NASA’s Fermi Gamma-Ray Space Telescope said Tuesday that they had discovered two bubbles of energy erupting from the center of the Milky Way galaxy. The bubbles, they said at a news conference and in a paper to be published Wednesday in The Astrophysical Journal, extend 25,000 light years up and down from each side of the galaxy and contain the energy equivalent to 100,000 supernova explosions.

“They’re big,” said Doug Finkbeiner of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, leader of the team that discovered them.

The source of the bubbles is a mystery. One possibility is that they are fueled by a wave of star births and deaths at the center of the galaxy. Another option is a gigantic belch from the black hole known to reside, like Jabba the Hutt, at the center of the Milky Way. What it is apparently not is dark matter, the mysterious something that astronomers say makes up a quarter of the universe and holds galaxies together.

“Wow,” said David Spergel, an astrophysicist at Princeton who was not involved in the work.

“And we think we know a lot about our own galaxy,” Dr. Spergel added, noting that the bubbles were almost as big as the galaxy and yet unsuspected until now.

Jon Morse, head of astrophysics at NASA headquarters, said, “This shows again that the universe is full of surprises.”

One of the most surprised was Dr. Finkbeiner. A year ago he was part of a group led by Gregory Dobler of the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics in Santa Barbara, Calif., that said it had discerned the existence of a mysterious fog of high-energy particles buzzing around the center of the Milky Way. The particles manifested themselves as a haze of extra energy after all the known sources of gamma rays — the most energetic form of electromagnetic radiation — had been subtracted from Fermi data that had recently been made public.

At the time, Dr. Finkbeiner and his colleagues speculated that the haze was produced by dark matter. The center of the galaxy is home to all manner of wild and woolly high-energy phenomena, including a gigantic black hole and violently spinning pulsars, but cosmological theories also suggest that dark matter would be concentrated there. Collisions of dark matter particles, the theory goes, could produce showers of gamma rays.

But in the follow-up analysis, the haze — besides being bigger than Dr. Finkbeiner and his colleagues had thought — turned out to have sharp boundaries, like, well, a bubble. Dark matter, according to the prevailing theory, should be more diffuse.

“Dark matter has been there billions of years,” Dr. Finkbeiner explained. “If something has been going on for billions of years, you wouldn’t expect a sharp edge.” He and the other scientists said this did not mean that dark matter was not there clogging the center of the galaxy, but that it would be harder to see.
