This Wednesday Sandbox gathering we learn about our subconsious using Tarot. Tarot cards are an ancient tool for self-discovery. They help us access our unconscious minds and gain a deeper understanding of any issue we may face in our daily lives. They can aid us in uncovering choices that get hidden inside the stresses of our busy lives. But most of all, they are about free will and growth. Come to the Sandbox on August 4th and get a flavor of what the Tarot is all about. You'll have an opportunity to ask a question and interpret what the cards have to say.


Bev Hitchins has been reading the cards for five years and uses the Tarot as a tool in her work as a de-clutterer and home organizer. One article she has written was published in the American Tarot Association Journal: "Why do I have Clutter? How the Tarot Can Help You Understand Why You Have Clutter." This Wednesday Sandbox gathering we learn how to release negativity from our lives. Do brooding negative thoughts and worries fill your mind making it hard to get things done? Do you seem to have a lot of friends who complain all the time? Is your job not satisfying your deeper desires? Is your health suffering? Then it might be time to look at releasing some negativity from your life!

We will do some exercises for releasing negativity and a ritual to drop depressing thoughts. We will share what works for us in bring positivity into our experience and learn new ways to be happy from the inside out. By the end of the evening your load will be lighter and you will have tools for staying that way! And given how external things are going on the planet in the lead up to 2012 this might be a life saving set of tools to have handy...

And as part of this process I invite everyone who attendees to do a one day media fast for the whole day Wednesday - no radio news, no morning show, no newspaper, no internet news, no TV news, no news magazines, no twitter. Just for one day. Don't worry the planet won't stop turning if you don't do news for one day and you can always read the Wednesday paper the next day if you want to. I used to be a news junkie so I know what a challenge this can be. So get some support, find some relaxing music to listen to instead of the radio or actually have a connectful conversation with other people ;-) In my experience if anything "really big" happens other people will be talking about it - you won't miss out. Or I should say that your heart won't miss out - you ego might start wondering what to do with itself - but just remind it who is in charge and do something different for yourself like a walk in the park, some stretches or a nap.

This Wednesday Sandbox gathering we look at the 9th wave of the Mayan Calendar (Unity Consciousness) which we are now entering the pre-wave on on July 17-18 2010 . You may have noticed more turbulence in your world over the past year - people changing jobs, a move to heart-based living, financial crises, political earthquakes, more unconditional love connections and a rise in fear based and repressive measures by those in control.

The acts of servitude, manipulation and disempowerment by those who wish to overpower others come from the false belief in separation and non-equality. In its lowest form it is expressed as the lust for power and wealth, “tyranny” at the expense of humanity and the Earth. This is a very unevolved dense consciousness, which will not make it through the vibrational lifting or awakening and healing process. They have devolved and are on the downward spiral of evolution falling further and further away from the ultimate power, which is love.

In the cosmic scheme of things they have no real power their only power comes from their ability to engage, control and manipulate the physical, which is less than 1% of the universe in which they live. No suit, tie, limo, castle, amount of people to dominate or amassed gold can fill the void or the addiction. In some cases they are engaged by the nonphysical yet it is of a disempowering nature eventually loosing their own personal power and connection to the soul and Creator.  In extreme cases it is called possession by regenerate forces. At the core of many of these tyrants you will find a child that was never loved, accepted or felt approved. They are seeking love acceptance and approval outside of self through others and material wealth yet they are always left empty and a nagging sense of dissatisfaction keeps arising. They still have the divine spark yet it is buried under layers of denial, fear and unworthiness yet they will be the last to acknowledge this. The light of truth will find even them in the days to come and many will fall on their knees in regret.

Both of these illusions as well as the fears, wounds and traumas are in the process of healing. Being aware of this process, feeling it and engaging it rather than running from it will create a quantum leap in evolution. We are seeing this in the macrocosm being played out as we speak. The polarities of the haves and have-nots are very apparent. The gross uneven dispersal of wealth, the unbridled greed, the corporate generated wars through false flag operations, the plagues of the war and disease profiteers have risen for all to see. They are being revealed as well as those behind these nepharious schemes for those who are awakening. The apocalypse is defined as the great uncovering and soon you will see all these past wars and plagues as outrageous as this seems were already on the books in a master plan. Not one of them was what it seemed nor what you were told by the mainstream media.  In this awakening and healing process you will see a complete unraveling, restructuring and in some cases collapse of the old system. There will be a movement back to courage and integrity, it will be seen in all facets of society and eventually there will be no more willing participants in actions which are harmful to humanity and the Earth. Those who have been a disservice to humanity and the Earth will have but one path and that is to serve in the highest and best good of the whole.

As more heal and awaken with this great wave you will begin to see incredible light beings and light ships. These are referred to in almost all cultures and faiths and were recorded in sacred doctrines, clay tablets, and temple walls. Dimensional gates or portals will begin opening during this process and a grand reunion with ancient ancestors, ultradimensional beings with technologies far beyond our wildest dreams will be making their presence known. With this presence the regenerate beings will tremble both physical and non physical. The Earth will shake, rumble, shift, rivers and oceans will loose their borders and the sun will also expand during this process withsolar flares and coronal mass ejections.  As we move closer to the galactic plane the grand tipping point Oct of 2011 this will all increase exponentially.

It is an incredible, awesome, exciting event the whole multiverse has come to witness and you have a front row seat. The only question is how are you going to participate, which polarity are you going to express and choose wisely because the immutable law of karma, action/reaction, and the downward spiral of disunity is coming to a close. It is time to choose, the awakening and healing of humanity and the Earth is well underway. Those on high are praying you choose to live in harmony with each other and the Earth for that is what the Earth has chosen. The reset button has been pushed and the original intent, Eden, a place where universal peace, love, joy and individual freedom and prosperity for all where each individual can excel to their highest potential is returning. It is time to leave behind the old ways and return to some of the most ancient of ways. Time to love honor and respect the Creator in all Creation.

This Wednesday Sandbox gathering we gather around the fire to heal. Fire is a great way to get in touch with our primitive selves and create a sacred container for healing. You can speak your prayers to the fire, sing them, dance them or write a poem to burn. Either way the passion of the flames will fire your desires to the heavens. Because fire represents passion it is particularly suited to healing issues of the heart and diseases of low energy, but any healing is possible!

This Wednesday Sandbox gathering we go into a very deep relaxing state with a gong meditation by Werner. The mind can't keep thoughts going during the gong for more than 90 seconds and hence these are very restful and deep meditative state. It heals all the cells in the body. Werner has a 38" large sonic gong and he will play it with chakra activation. Gongs have been used since ancient times to awaken us to the infinite reverberations of Being, within our own consciousness, vibrating in infinite frequencies of silence. Similar to the sound of the ocean, this complex sound of the Gong, can not be comprehended by the linear mind, mind becomes suspended, and awareness drops through to a primordial state.
 
Like the sound heard and felt in the roar of a waterfall, or the surf of the sea, listening to the sound of the Gong creates an opening that goes beyond hearing, beyond mind, into a state of reverberation of consciousness onto itself, opening the awareness beyond the self-identification with mind and its conditioned patterns.  It is therefore used as a form of therapy, creating an opening for transformation.

In a "Gong Concert"  I usually begin by bringing the listener into physical and emotional "present moment."
Then I work with the body awareness to lead the listener into a deeper state of awareness and connection to self and core issues.
In the next stage the listener holds a deep intention for  any desired transformation or healing to occur, affirming that all is well.
Then I ask the listeners to direct the sound of the gong to each individual chakra for clearing and empowerment.
After this activation, the listener is invited to bath themselves in the symphonic sound of the Gong, as we would bath in the warm rays of the sun at the beach, or a gentle breeze in spring.

During that main portion of the concert, the listener is encouraged to let any energy freely move through and clear from his system, with the intention to let go of all that does not serve, and inviting in new live affirming patterns of energetic flow and healing.................
By that time the listener is usually deeply immersed and  dissolved in the symphony of sounds and experiences a source of deep wellbeing within him/herself.
After a while the waves of sound subside and the listener settles down into the source of all sound, the sublime silence of being, feeling the sounds of the Gong reverberating in his/her awareness long after the outside sound has stopped.

It is a magical and primal experience, difficult to put into words, but a deeply refreshing opening of Self to itself within oneself.

This Wednesday Sandbox gathering we tame our inner critic with Core Energetic Practitioner Barra Kahn. I haven't watched TV news or listened to radio news for about 3 years
now. I do sometime read headlines in the Washington Post when I am
grocery shopping. But my main news source is what friends and coworkers
are talking about. If it is big news then I hear about it. (I used to
spend an hour a day reading the Post cover to cover plus CNN, PBS news.
I guess I was a news junkie!)

They have an old saying in newspapers that "if it bleeds it leads". I take to mean that violence, conflict and fear tend to make it to the front page or leading stories. This is even more true of TV, which is a more emotional medium.

I do like some radio shows such as This American Life which goes into non=leading stories.

Perhaps if you contact the website with you idea for actionable news they would be interested.

I heard this mantra at Winter Solstice at Harijiwan's class. It's called Jai Te Gung and is from the Dasam Granth, which was written by Guru Gobind Singh. It is used to cut through blocks to what you want to project or manifest in the world.
